Vegan Cheesy Chilli Mustard Hot Dogs
Ingredients
- Pack Of Vegan Hot Dogs
- Hot Dog Bread Buns
- Koko Spread
- Chopped Lettuce
- 1x Large Onion
- 2x Tablespoon - Sunflower Oil
- For The Chilli Dog -
- x1 - Onion
- x1 - Red Pepper
- 200g - Mushrooms
- 200g - Tinned Chopped Tomatoes
- 200g - Kidney Beans
- x1 - Red Chilli
- 1/2 Teaspoon - Chilli Flakes
- Pinch Of Salt And Pepper
- For The Cheesy Dog -
- 250ml - Koko Original Milk
- 150g - Grated Koko Cheddar Cheese Alternative
- x2 Tablespoons - Nutritional Yeast
- x1 Teaspoon - Turmeric
- x1 Teaspoon - Coarse Mustard
- Pinch Of Salt And Pepper
- For The Mustard Dog -
- x3 Tablespoons - Coarse Mustard
- x2 Tablespoons - Dairy Free Mayonaise

Method
- Chilli Sauce -
- 1. Heat Up Oil In a Large Pan On Low Heat
- 2. Chop Onion, Red Pepper, Mushrooms And Fry Along With Red Chilli And Chilli Flakes Until Softened
- 3. Add Tinned Tomatoes And Kidney Beans. Add Salt And Pepper To Your Taste
- 4. Allow To Simmer On A Low Heat Whilst You Make The Cheese Sauce
- Cheesy Sauce
- 1. In A Large Pan, On A Low Heat Slowly Warm Up Dairy Free Milk And Grated Koko Dairy Free Deliciously Mellow Until Melted
- 2. Add Nutritional Yeast, Turmeric, Mustard, Salt And Pepper. Adjust Measurements If Needed To Suite Your Taste
- 3. Leave To Simmer On Low Heat
- 4. Meanwhile, Chop Up Large Onion And Fry On A Low Heat Until Softened. Set Aside For Topping. ( You Could Also Deep Fry The Onion For A Crispier Taste)
- 5. Mix Mustard And Mayonaise Accordingly To Your Taste. Set Aside
- 6. Heat Up Vegan Sausages Accordingly To Packaged Guidelines.
- 7. Butter Your Bread Buns And Add Lettuce
- 8. Add Sausage To The Bun And A Spoonful Of Cheesy Sauce Or Chilli Sauce Or MustardMayo
- 9. Top With Fried Onions
